eWomen Skills
GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) is fundamental in all that we do. We want to ensure that no one is left behind in the process of development. This is the reason why our innovation hub is constantly in search of knowledge on different skills. We consider Women, Young People and Persons with Disabily (PWDs) as celebrities in all that we do and hence these marginalised groups are our unfair advantage. Women are the leaders of our organization and the youths are considered by us as the main drivers of our activities.
Innovative Skills Against Poverty
Women, Children and Persons with Disability (PWDs) are reduced to beggars in Sierra Leone. With different skills, we want to empower them and get them off the streets as beggars. Based on a survey we conducted with a sample of the marginalised groups, all of them said begging is a very difficult task and that, they do not like to beg but they have to beg to survive. eWomen is researching day and night to find appropriate skills for these vulnerable groups.
